Pretty Useful
I thought both assignments were pretty useful. As a whole, I thought that this was one of the smoothest group projects I've ever done in my college career. The assignments kind of made us delve deeper within an article or within an organization to actually question whether or not the arguments that they were stating were actually valid. That they actually were structured in a way a good and valid argument is supposed to be structured. The first was a useful exercise because it made us look deeper in what articles are actually posting. When I did my portion, I searched for each supporting claim and decided whether the argument within the article was actually valid and strong. I actually found it to structurally be weak, and it can show after you read the article. With the second assignment, we were asked to look deeper into an organization. I found this to be interesting because we were able to investigate further into the organization's statements and goals to find valid points.

ReplyDeleteI agree that both assignments were useful. The assignments did make us break down and evaluate the articles and organizations. It made it easier to evaluate everything and put the books terms into action. It made it more clear and understandable on how the terms are used in everyday life. The first assignment did make you realize whether or not the claims made in the article were plausible or not and it shows that anyone can write something and place their own opinion on everything on the internet. The second assignment made us think critically about the motives and claims presented by the organizations. Also both of these assignments brought about a better communication within the members of each group.
hello, i totally agree. the efficiency of the group work was smooth i was put into a good group, we all help each other out. This is actually my fist online course and i was a little scared coming into it because i did not know how easy it was going to be working and getting all of the work done. but both assignments were very good. the first assignment was a bit scary to me but the second was a lot more easy. the first asignment was simple, finding claims became more clear on how to find when doing it as a group. the prompt was more detailed and expalined better that way.
